University, Collegiate & Graduation

Whilst honours caps were first worn in order to distinguish opposing school teams from one another, the concept of the ‘cap’ has since developed to recognise achievement within teams or clubs internationally.

 

For many, the highest level of sport that they will play will be at University where teams will be tested against local teams as well as other high performing Universities. Being selected to represent your University is an honour and many will talk fondly of their University sporting careers for the rest of their lives.

Both velevet presentation and woollen cricket 'baggy' caps may be designed to highlight the important role that members of sports clubs play and can be awarded to all members who have proudly represented their Universities.
