Meet The Team

James Barker
James, a recent graduate of Newcastle University, joined the team in early 2016.
He spends many of his weekends out on the cricket field claiming great accolade of, 'taking wickets left, right, and centre', although any actual evidence of this remains to be seen.
James heads up the social media and sales side here at The 1839 Company and is heavily involved in all other aspects of the business.

Paul Jackson
Known by his contemporaries as Jacko, Paul is the origin of The 1839 Company story. He came to Chris & Harry with the idea in early 2014 and, lo-and-behold, a truly brilliant business emerged.
Jacko heads up client acquisition, sports a rather splendid Burt Reynolds-esque moustache and happens to be the resident Chairman of The 1839 Company Golf, leisure, and social society.
Chris Carr
Chris spent much of his working life in the textile industry producing vast quantities of garments for some of the more well known brands.
Having become a man of leisure not too long ago, and acquiring a pooch (Monty) along the way, he fancied investing some of his time into a new venture.
Chris is the man behind all our caps and I think you'll agree he makes the very finest available today.
Montgomery Carr
Our resident pooch and perhaps the most important member of the team.
Monty can be found having an afternoon kip, eating his dinner and going on some enthusiastic walks with the other dogs at The 1839 HQ.
