The tradition of honours caps began within the grounds of public schools, whereby senior pupils were awarded their caps both for sporting achievement, and as a way to distinguish rival teams on the pitch. They have since come to be recognised to represent the highest form of sporting accolade and are as such presented to those who represent their country, club or indeed school in all sports.

Both velvet honours caps and woollen cricket ‘baggy’ caps may be designed to your school specification and can be presented to current pupils in recognition of their achievements. The popularity of sports caps can also be used to reconnect alumni with their respective schools, whilst proving a favourite when it comes to Old Boy’s days or reunion dinners.
