We are the only manufacturer that hand makes all of our velvet honours caps here in the heart of England using the very finest UK made materials. Our caps are therefore superior in terms of quality, and owing to the our use of natural fibres, our caps will outlast other manufacturers and form a lovely patina and lustre over time. We also hold the very unique position to have access to a simply marvellous curated collection of honours and baggy caps dated between 1839 -1947, from which we base the designs of our caps upon. Simply put, we produce the very finest, traditionally styled, UK hand-manufactured honours caps available, and we are exceedingly proud to be able to do so.

Currently we have just one style, our 1884 traditional model, that is based on a museum example of the same year. The 1884 model fits shallow on the head. It is designed to simply perch on the crown of the head for photographic purposes. We are currently working to expand our model range and to cater for a wider range of head sizes. We are aiming for these updates to be available in the new year.

We do not have a set minimum quantity for order however, price per cap does decrease with quantity ordered. Please get in touch to discuss prices in full.

For team orders, our English-made velvet honours caps start at £34.99. For single honours caps as part of our bespoke experience, we charge from £99.95. Full pricing for velevet honours caps as follows: 1-3 special/bespoke run - from £99.99 each (subject to increase depending on specific requirements) 4-9 - £59.99 each 10-24 - £43.95 each 25-49 - £39.99 each 50-99 - £36.99 100+ - £34.99 Single panel embroidery work is included in the above prices. Additional embroidery work on other panels is subject to an additional charge of £30 per order. All presentation boxes are priced at £10, and come with a certificate of provenance. All '1839 Co.' embroidered velvet presentation bags are priced at £15, with additonal cost of £25 per order for personalised embroidery work. All presentation bags come with a certificate of provenance. For team orders, our woollen baggy caps start at £14.95. For single caps as part of our bespoke experience, we charge from £39.95. We welcome larger orders and are happy to discuss discounts as required.

The grand total price we quote for our services includes all CAD design, shipping etc. There are no hidden charges.

We do offer discounted rates for larger orders and university students. Please feel free to email to discuss this in detail.

We prefer to set up a personalised online store for your team however, if it is required we can use paper order systems and even individualised invoicing for single orders. Please get in touch to discuss how we may work to suit you.

Once orders have been recieved, they can not be cancelled so please make sure all your details are correct at the time of submission. If in the event you make a mistake on your order form, please contact us as soon as you can and we will accommodate you as best we can.

If your caps arrive either damaged or not true to the agreed specification, please contact us directly to discuss how we can resolve the issue.

We exclusively post our caps to you using Royal Mail Special Delivery. This ensures that both parties can track their package from door to door and also fully insures your caps should the worst happen along the way. Occasionally, for larger or special orders, we will use DHL as our courier of choice. For overseas delivery, we discuss this with our clients to choose the best delivery option for them.

From the point of manufacture (not order receipt), all caps should arrive within 6-8 weeks.
